How do I remove brownish stains from my vinyl swimming pool lining?

We had lots of decomposed leaves in our pool this year when we opened it.. the water is crystal clear now but the leaves left a brownish stain on the liner. I’ve used algaecides, shock, chlorine tablets and I’ve been back flushing the pump continuously. I even used algaeguard gold which is 60% stronger. Any suggestions?

My mom used to send us in the pool with a soft brush to scrub the stains. (we could go under water, she couldn’t, lol)They usually came up shorty after chlorine was added if we scrubbed. Then we got out and ran the filter for a bit.
