Makeup/style for a long plane journey?

im 14 and im going to florida from the UK in the summer, i travel often but i never seem to be happy with my clothes/makeup on the plane!
What make should i wear because i usually wear a lot of foundation and mascara but wont it smudge? What makeup for a natural lasting finsh?
Also what should i do with my hair?
lastly does this seem an okay outfit:
Tshirt
denim shorts
tights
plimsoles/dollies (btw i would take the tights off when i land, but wear the denims!
any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks x
